Javier Peña will be at the Another Way Film Festival, whose ” highly competitive programme includes themes such as climate change and its consequences, deforestation, the effects of mass tourism and the loss of biodiversity“. The creator of “Hope” and “Hope! we still have time” will be part of the jury of the Official Selection, together with Ana Torres, Product Manager at the distribution company Elástica films and Gimena Arensburg, director of programming at Canal Odisea. The prize will be awarded to the film chosen from among the 9 documentaries presented in the Official programme, 7 of the films will be unreleased in Spain. The prize will be the Odyssey Prize of €2,500.
The meeting will take place from 5 to 11 October in Madrid and will again opt for a hybrid approach. The films can be seen at Cineteca Madrid, Cines Golem Madrid, Filmoteca Española, Sala Equis, Institut français de Madrid, Casa de América, mk2 Cine Paz, and of course in online spaces such as Filmin and the festival’s online platform.
